When we conceived this cask program, we dug deeper into the roots of our land. And reached higher to imagine the rarefied experiences. In a word, we had to stretch.
In a world where the originals are becoming a rare species, it isn’t enough to be just about the product or the cask. We had a responsibility to our land and communities, both of which stamp their distinctive presence on our artisanal produce and process.

Our program had to rise to the occasion. We had a 50-million-year universe at hand, a part of the world often referred to as the Third Pole – the Himalayas for inspiration.
Rudyard Kipling writes of the whiff of damp woodsmoke, cakes, moist pinecones and the dripping undergrowth while describing the smell of the Himalayas. And that once a man falls for the fragrance, he is claimed by the hills for life. That to us defines our charter at the Himmaleh distillery. That our flavors, our spirits and our produce evoke the same feeling amongst our patrons. A patronage claimed for life.
Then, there is the story of our spirits – each a
labour of love, a collective passion of our growers, harvesters, foragers, distillers. Flavoured and provided for by a plentiful Himalayan universe.
Finally, we get to the place where it all happens from farm to bottle – our charming distillery surrounded by a preserved habitat. Heralding probably the most experiential distillery tourism of its kind. Jungle stays, photo-treks, members’ only privileges, merchandise, discovery tours, label tasting, foraging, grassland picnics and community experiences.
And for the brave of heart a few unexpected
surprises that the land of Corbett throws at you. Yes, this is about distillery tourism of a whole new kind.
As we said, we stretched ourselves to create a program for the seekers of the unordinary.
Like yourselves, who always seek a new high. We finally found it with the Himalayas. And now we want you to come along on this journey.

As part of the agricultural industry, we fully depend on our surrounding, just as it depends on us. That’s why we grow our produce organically and sustainably. Over the past decades the carbon footprint of the winery has been positive, which is something we’re really proud of.
